Off Your Plate Meals Logo & Business Card

Red Lace Design has designed a new logo and business card for Off Your Plate Meals, a certified personal chef service.  "Beautiful work! I am so impressed with your ability to synthesize and actualize the concepts I gracelessly plunked down on your consultation form; despite my clunky efforts, you were able to read my mind and produce not one, but three really viable logos on the first go! Thank you; the whole logo is very whimsical, playful, and unique while still maintaining a distinct and professional cleanliness, I'm really happy. Thank you, Lacey!" - Emily Schoonmaker, Personal Chef, Off Your Plate Meals, Portland OR USA, client since 2011

What is a Vector Graphic?

Vector graphics are computer graphics represented by mathematical points, not pixels. Vector graphics are generated by illustration software such as Adobe Illustrator and can be scaled, rotated, moved or otherwise manipulated to any degree without any loss of quality.  Vector graphics are most commonly used for logos, illustrations and other web graphics.

This is why Red Lace Design ensures you are supplied with all the final formats you will need to reproduce your new logo design for web, print and promotional items. We create our designs in Adobe Illustrator as industry standard vector graphics and we guarantee to supply you with the original EPS files, ready to use file formats, font names and Pantone color values. Contact us today to get started on your logo project.

Starbucks Drops Name and Coffee

Today Starbucks announced that its logo has been simplified removing the words "Starbucks" and "Coffee" from their famous emblem.  The simplified design marks the 40th anniversary of the first Starbucks store in Seattle in 1971.  The new logo (shown right) will be phased in, starting March 2011.  The possible reason for the change? A logo that better represents a company that is now much more than just coffee.

From Starbucks website: "Our new evolution liberates the Siren from the outer ring, making her the true, welcoming face of Starbucks."
